Kardie Tobb, DO, MS, CPE, FACC, FASPC, FACOI is board certified in general cardiology, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, cardiovascular computed tomography & internal medicine.
Her interests in women’s cardiovascular health with emphasis on Cardioobstetrics she founded the women’s heart health & Cardioobstetrics program at Cone Health. In this program she has worked collaboratively with OB/GYN, MFM and anesthesia to take care high risk cardiovascular pregnant patients to help improve maternal health outcomes.

Dr Tobb also serves as the Cone health system-wide Clinical Integration Officer with Cone Health Center for Equity. In this role she focuses on developing strategies to improve access to care for individuals from under resourced backgrounds. In addition, she is leading quality projects to implement operational efficiencies to address social drivers of health in at-risk population.

Dr. Tobb is a Certified Physician Executive (CPE) earning this distinction through the American Association of Physician leadership. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and serves as a member of the cardiovascular disease in women expert committee, and disparities of care. She is fellow of the American society of preventative cardiology and serves on the ASPC board of directors and chairs the Women in preventative cardiology working group. She is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internist and a member of the committee on Ethnically and Racially Underrepresented populations in medicine.

She currently sits on several other national and local boards: Cone Health foundation Board, Health Team Advantage (Medicare Advantage plan for North Carolina), Women’s Resources center – Greensboro and the American Society of Preventative cardiology.

In her leisure she enjoys spending time with her family (she is married with 2 young daughters). Her natural passion for fashion and style has led her to be the creative director and founder of the brand Tobbstars.
